Maya Moore is the best girls basketball player in college right now. Ain't nobody on her level not Kayla Pedersen nobody she should've got Player of the Year if you ask me. Just cause she's a freshman that don't mean nothing! The gurl got Skills! Mad Skills!

Ok everyone, I am a huge Lady Vols fan. I feel that right now so many people are caught up in the hype. Maya Moore is a great player and will probably evolve into an even greater player. Candice Parker is a great player and evolved to become a better player and still evolving. The two young ladies play different positions and brings something very different to the game. Both are fun to watch and cause problems for whoever guards them.

I have attached a copy of the freshman stats for Moore and Parker they are almost identical. Let's just hope that Moore earns the accolades of Parker and the Lady Vols so she a cement her legacy at UConn. And for the haters, let's hope she gets it soon because there are 6 incoming freshmen at Tennessee who are ready to make their mark in the Lady Vol history books and with a Coach like Pat Summit, that moment could come sooner than later.

I'm a Rutgers fan. Don't like the Huskies either. Have friends that have gone to Tennessee and have told me things. I would still pick Moore over Parker. Watch out for Epiphany this year!

why is everyone always com[aring this girl too Candace Parker, and further trying to dimish Ms. Parker's success. geez get over it. spread love. they play completely different positions so why are they compared so much, i've had this discussion with others. "Maya Moore" being the "answer" too Candace Parker. just let her build her OWN legacy. I sense Envy. you cannot argue results.

Parker is a good player but overrated. I've watched her play quit a bit. I agree. She is lazy on defense. Thank goodness she has other players around her to pick up her slack. Parker was the only offense on the team so I guess it worked out for them.

Candace Parker is the best dont hate

I can't believe we're already voting on this "issue!" Lol... The 2008 Olympics haven't even started yet. Who's to say that Candace won't retire early - although, very doubtful... And what if Maya Moore decides not to pursue basketball after college - also very doubtful... Remember "the Kaz" from years gone by? She was the best high school player in the nation when she committed to UCLA, and then left college basketball due to "burnout" only to become a waitress back in her home state of New York. It's just not fair to compare Candace and Maya. Candace has blazed her own trail in women's college hoops, as will Maya. As I watched both this year, I saw a lot of Candace in Maya. And I'm sure Maya is honored everytime she's compared to Candace. Who wouldn't be??!! Poppin' colla's, trash-talkin', and being down-right competitive is not a crime! I will enjoy watching Candace and Lisa take the Sparks to new heights, and in the Fall, watch Maya better her freshman season! As for the incoming "Super 6" LADY VOLS......well, they'll be a fun bunch to watch! I look forward to watchin' Glory Johnson do great things - as well as having Kelley Cain dominate the post!! I see Kelley hosting plenty of "block parties" in the near future!!
