SEATTLE - During our most recent Podcast, we dubbed Glory Johnson of Knoxville, Tenn., "The Flash" because of her otherworldly speed, with and without the basketball.
Today Johnson adds another unofficial title:
No. 2 prospect in HoopGurlz.com's ranking of the 2008 class.
Taking advantage of the further context gained from the USA Basketball Youth Development Festival, HoopGurlz has revised its 2008 rankings for the third time.

Johnson, 6-foot-3, becomes the third No. 2 player in the HoopGurlz rankings, preceded by Nneka Ogwumike of Cypress, Texas, and April Sykes of Crawford, Miss., all of whom have trailed No. 1 Elena Delle Donne of Wilmington, Del., from the beginning.
Sykes, a 5-11 guard with WNBA-ready physique and skills, remains No. 3. She missed the Youth Development Festival to nurse a right-hand injury, but is scheduled to attend the Nike Skills Academy, which begins Saturday with 22 of the nation's top rising juniors and seniors.
Two players - Shekinna Stricklen of Morrilton, Ark., and Brooklyn Pope of Fort Worth, Texas - have been reclassified as wings. Both previously were rated as forwards and remain two of 24 players who received five-star ratings from HoopGurlz as the highest grouping of prospects.
Two other players - Tiffany Hayes of Winter Haven, Fla., and Casey Morris of Piedmont, Calif. - made considerable moves up the rankings. Morris, a smooth, 5-8 point guard, rose 15 spots to No. 45. Hayes, a Connecticut commit who was ranked as HoopGurlz's No. 1 player at the Youth Development Festival, improved 13 spots to No. 12.
Tennessee has made the most noise among early commitments. Stricklen's commitment to the Lady Vols, reported by HoopGurlz.com on Sunday, increased coach Pat Summitt's 2008 take to three players ranked in HoopGurlz.com's top 10. The others are Amber Gray of Cincinnati, Ohio, who is No. 4, and Alicia Manning of Woodstock, Ga., who is No. 10.
HoopGurlz plans one more tweak before the July evaluation period - just after the Nike Skills Academy. All three of the players who have occupied the No. 2 spot are scheduled to participate in the Academy, as will the top three ranked posts (Lynetta Kizer of Woodbridge, Va., No. 5 overall; Ayana Dunning of Columbus, Ohio, No. 6 overall, and Chay Shegog of Stafford, Va., No. 20. Kizer recently committed to Maryland; Shegog is a North Carolina commit.
Another hotly contested position at the Academy will be point guard, featuring four of the top seven ranked players, including Ashley Corral of Vancouver, Wash., No. 17 overall; Destini Hughes of Kennedale, Texas, No. 19; Samantha Prahalis of Commack, N.Y., No. 21, and She'la White of Norfolk, Va., No. 36.
